When I was a boy, I lived in a country where health care cost real money from the pocket and not the tax payers.  If I fell extremely ill with Para-typhoid or something, my mother would take me to the doctor for an injection/vaccine that brought the fever down.  For most illnesses such as colds or infections she boiled substantial amounts of chamomile or thyme or fed us blossom water for stomach ailments. The following mornings, would be fresh as the new spring air and the Jasmine blossoms of March before Easter.  Oh, how I loved to play outdoors, especially after the realization that wars like Black September kept us hidden from the fresh air and sunshine of our childhood. I was lucky to learn the true meaning of freedom and simple health.
